De-Shedding Treatment

If you have a double coated dog and a house full of fur, this is the appointment that fixes it. Low shed shampoos and conditioners loosen the dead undercoat, a high velocity dryer drives it out, and undercoat rakes clear what is left.

It is worth saying plainly what this is not: it is not shaving a double coat down. Shaving a double coated dog damages the coat and does nothing for the shedding. Pulling the dead undercoat out is what actually works, and it is what we do.
